What is an eclipse

An eclipse occurs whenever one thing moves in front of another and hides it.The sun,the moon,even stars, can be eclipsed.A cloud can pass in front of the sun or moon and hide it.That's a kind of a eclipse.The sun or moon can pass can pass behind a tall building.

This is what I learnt in reading this book today.I learnt a lot about eclipse.
