One hot summer day, 5 monkeys were walking through the park when they saw an elephant named bush. They said “Hi my name is Kevin and these are my 4 brothers Gabriel,Tyson,Luke, and James”.The elephant replied “my name is bush” nice to meet you he said.Wanna Play tag he said.Yes I would love too.
Then they saw a Fat juicy lemon running from a dog so the monkeys and the elephant ran as fast as they could followed the lemon and see where it would go.They ran so fast that they even past the dog.
The Lemon jumped over the hot rocks and the elephant and monkeys just made it over the hot steaming rocks that would burn if you feel on it.The lemon was still running and the elephant and monkeys were too.So they ran through tornadoes hurricans and even past volcanic eruptions. Then they ran through the fabulous flower garden and it looked like a pig style when they ran through it.
Last the lemon slowed down but the elephant and the monkeys still couldn’t catch the lemon. The lemon saw the storm that was humongous and ran for it but then the elephants and the monkeys walked through the storm because they were so tired they couldn’t find any water nearby. But they were calm after a storm that was huge. When they got to the end of the storm the lemon was there and they said to the lemon “Do you wanna play jumping for balloons. The lemon said yes and they played happily ever after in sept for the dog. Then they slept through the silent night.

My Swimming Recount

Recount writing
The water in the swimming pool was freezing. It was as cold as the ice on the North Pole.
I hopped in the freezing pool, went under the water and got up so quick that I was almost out of the water in a flash. Everyone was in the pool and some people were shivering because it was so very cold. Later on people started to swim because they got used to the water. The teacher taught us how to swim freestyle. Sometime later the class got free time so we could do anything we wanted to do,like handstands and backflips but not bombing in the pool.

Water Fun Day
Yes I knew there was going to be a water fun day sliding down slides and seeing who got the most water in their own coloured bin.
Everyone from the amazing school of Glenbrae had a water fun day for summer. It was and hot sunny beautiful day when green, blue, red, and yellow split into their class colours and did fun activities that concluded water.
P2:Then everything started when we lined up and did a game. The instructions were putting a sponge in a water bucket and put it under our legs and the last person to hold the sponge had to run to the blue, green, red, and yellow bin and the squeeze the sponge in the bucket top see who would get the mostest water. Then we ran back and did it again till the whistle blew and then we had to move activities again.
P3:This activity was to walk across the long chair and fill a milk bottle up with water till we moved to another activity.
P4:Our next activity was to fill a cup of water and put it in the bin and everyone ran and by the time they got there it was only a little bit of water in the cup. Then run back and someone else from your only house colour and then they do the same till the class moved to the other activity.
P5:Our next activity was put a sponge in water and pass it over your shoulders and under your legs and then run to your colour bin.
P6:I love doing zick zack because that was the game filling a cup and zick zack ing through cones and running to the bin and filling it up and running back up the hill and handing it to your other friend.
P7:Finally the waterslide was the last thing our class did.We filled up water with cups and slided down the slide and ran to our house coloured bin and put water in it and then had to run up the hill and give it to someone else who did the same.
Conclusion:Everyone got called to sit in the house coloured lines to see who got the mostest water and it was green that came 1st,my team blue 2nd.Yellow came 3rd,and red came last.My favourite activity was the water slide cuse it was so fun.

Storms
Storms come only on winter?False storms occur every season of the year.A storm cloud can drop millions off gallons (tilers) of water in just one minute.Storm clouds always look dark?True from the ground, storm clouds look dark to us.Raindrops in a rainstorm are ten times bigger than raindrops in a light drizzle.A ring around the moon means a rainstorm is coming?True A ring around the moon signals the approach of stormy weather. As the old saying goes:when there's a ring around the moon, rain or snow's coming soon.Summer rainstorms in the tropics are called monsoons?True monsoons bring heavy rain to tropical lands at the same time every year.Summer monsoons end when the weather cools.Ice storms develop from rainstorms.True Ice storms occur as drops of rain freeze when they strike objects on earth. An ice storm can cover a 50-foot pine tree with as much as 5 tons (5.5 t)of ice.Sleet is frozen rain True sleet is frozen rain, or ice, that falls from high clouds.Sleet does not stick to trees or wires.Lightning only shoots from clouds to earth false lightning can shoot out in many directions.Lightning bolts light up the sky every second of every day.Tall trees and buildings attract lightning True lightning often strikes the tallest objects in its path.Lightning never strikes twice in the same place false lightning may hit the same place many times. The most dangerous place to be in a lightning storm is under a tree.Thunder always follows lightning True thunder is the result of the lightning shooting across the sky. When you see lightning and hear thunder at nearly the same time, the storm is very close.Snowflakes are white false snowflakes are colourless, like clear glass or ice.Every snowflake has six sides and each snowflake is different.A blizzard is a severe snow storm True.A blizzard is a violent snowstorm with heavy snowfall, low temperatures and strong winds. In a blizzard snow falls fast - about 2 inches (5 cm) and hour.Blizzards last only a short time False.Blizzards can last anywhere from three hours to several days. Many blizzards come after a period of warmer weather in winter.Hailstorms are winter storms.false most hailstorms in the united states occur during the spring, summer,or fall.Kansas has more hailstorms than any other state.hailstones are always small.false hailstones can be as small as peas or as big as grapefruit's.The largest hailstone fell in Kansas in 1970.Hurricanes form over warm seas True hurricanes start when warm, wet air rises up from the ocean.Hurricanes in the northern hemisphere move from east to west and curve toward the north.Hurricanes can cause floods True very strong hurricane winds often push ocean waters so high that they flood the land.Storm surges and floods are the most dangerous parts of hurricanes.Tornadoes for on the ground false tornadoes start in dark, heavy storm clouds.Tornadoes are called twisters because of the swirling winds. All tornadoes strike land false while most tornadoes do strike land, some never do.Tornadoes happen on every continent on earth except Antarctica.Tornadoes can pull up trees true the violent, twisting winds of a tornado often uproot trees and knock them over.About 800 tornadoes occur every year in the united states.dust storms are like small tornadoes false dust storms look a little like tornadoes, but they are actually whirlwinds and not as dangerous.A dust storm's wall of dirt can reach as high as a twenty-story building.Storm chasers only track storms from the ground false storm chasers work on the ground, but also go up in planes to track a storm.Early warnings have reduced the number of deaths caused by storms.
