Today I read a book about motorcycles and I learnt that the motorcycle has been popular more than 100 years.You can ride them when going for long journeys and for going out and cruising with a harley davidson.The fastest motorbike in the world was a motorbike called "Lightning Bolt".It set a world record of 512 kilometers an hour.The first motorbike in the world was made in 1885from a sturdy wooden frame with a petrol engine under the seat.Small wheels at the sides helped to keep the heavy machine upright.The first motorcycle wheels were made from wood.Metal wheels with wire spokes cam next.Modern alloy wheels have three strong spokes.The modern motorcycle layout, with the engine inside the frame, was adopted quickly by early manufacturers.
